As for the section that maintains the vision in both the worldly and the otherworldly aspects, it is us—the followers of the Master Abu Abdillah al-Husayn bin Hamdan al-Khasibi from the Shi'ah—and likewise the Ismaili faction, into whose inclusion enter the Druze, who broke away from them during the era of Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah al-Fatimi.

These people cocooned themselves around the worship of Al-Hakim, detaching themselves from walking in the caravan of the Ismailis; and the error of all of them is also exposed and clear, by their diverting the Imamate from its legitimate, true possessor, Imam Musa al-Kazim, and placing it in his brother Ismail on one hand, and on the other hand, their belief that the Imam through whom the characteristics of divinity manifest remains apparent until this day of ours, and they currently restrict him to the "Aga Khan," their Imam in Pakistan or India.

There also emerged from both sides, the Sunnis and the Shi'ites, another group whose individuals are called the Sufis. These people also believe in the vision of God, except that some of them went to the extreme of believing in His incarnation (hulul) within His creatures—exalted is He far above that with great sublimity—while noting that there is a faction called the Anthropomorphists (al-Mujassimah) who say that Allah appears with a body, two hands, two feet, and bodily organs; and from among the non-Muslims are some of the Christians who believe in the divinity of the Lord Messiah, and that he is one of the three hypostases referred to as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
