and praise be to Allah, for He is the granter of success and the guide to that in which is the good, correctness, and uprightness, an excellent Protector and an excellent Helper.
❖ Refutation of the People of The Exoteric (Al-Zahir) and the Concept of Extremism ❖
The people of The Exoteric (Al-Zahir) described us as extremists considering that we believe in the divinity of our master, the Commander of the Faithful—His might was mighty—and it escaped them that the extremism whose adherent is blamed and declared a disbeliever is what was other than the truth, He, the Exalted, said:[“Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion other than the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way."”] 1 , meaning do not exceed the limit by placing a certain person or raising him above his right, and this is an address to the Christians and the Jews because of the belief of the former in the divinity
