the Exalted? He, Glory be to Him, said: [“And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.”] ¹ .

And we ask those who maintain the causality of the natural elements and the effectuality of the other beings—we ask them, saying: Indeed, the existence of these elements does not escape from either having happened by means of an originator prior to them, or that they originated themselves by themselves, or that their being was a coincidence without a cause.
