The Second Vision: I witnessed it while I was under the process of revising the treatise and before its final transcription, and that coincided with the twenty-first night of the grand month of Ramadan, and after we prayed a congregational prayer in the night at one of our village brothers' [houses], and after I performed the supererogatory night prayer in my home, I saw myself and I had gathered with my master, the Commander of the Faithful—His might was mighty—so I began asking him about unseen matters,

and whenever I asked him about that, I would say: “My master, I ask you not due to doubt in your power and your knowledge, but so that my heart may be reassured,” so it was among the entirety of what I asked him, and I remember the answer to it completely, that I said to him: “My master I am undertaking the composition of a treatise, so what do I name this treatise?” He answered me: “Name it the Irrefutable, Powerful Proof in Establishing the Visible Form.”

So I woke up from my sleep, joyful of heart, reassured of mind regarding writing this treatise and naming it with this name which my master summarized for me and approved, and at that point I realized that I am upon the most complete success in this work of mine, and that I have obtained the most abundant portion of my master's bounty and care, especially since I made sure of my saying to him: “but so that my heart may be reassured” my master, I am imitating my master Abraham the Friend and walking in his manner when he asked his Lord by his saying: [My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead] ¹ , He said: “Have you not believed?”, he said: “Yes, but so that my heart may be reassured”,
