a category that is among the people of dialectical interpretation, and these are the dialecticians by nature only or by nature and habit; and a category that is among the people of interpretation certain interpretation, and these are the demonstrative ones by nature and art—I mean the art of wisdom. And this interpretation ought not to be expressed openly to the people of dialectic, let alone the masses. And whenever any of these interpretations are expressed openly to someone who is not among its worthy people—especially the demonstrative interpretations due to their distance from common knowledges—that leads both the one who expresses it openly and the one to whom it is expressed to disbelief.”

And from it: the ways of gnosis have proceeded throughout history, since Pythagoras and even before him, upon not disclosing these ultimate realities. And from it, there came in a record among these records, cited by Al-Qalqashandi in the tenth volume of his book [Subh al-A'sha], Cairo, 1334 AH, on pages 436–438, the following: “And do not cast the deposit except to the guardians of deposits, and do not cast the seed except in a plantation that does not exhaust the sower, and select for your planting the most sublime of places for planting.
