And the indication of that is what He manifested of the power which pierced the custom (kharaqat al-'adah), so it is not within the capacity of the creation that they bring the like of it. And from that form He manifested a power which the created beings were incapable of. So that power is an indication that from that power is His power; that form is not His form upon reality. Rather, it is manifest in the eyes of humans like humans in the form of the incapable human."

"So we knew that that form is upon other than what it is of the composition of humanity (tarkib al-bashariyyah), and that the ancient manifested by it to affirm His existence and [so that] His manifestation to humans becomes valid. And that its reality is not sensed and not perceived. All of what manifested of power, then it does not have a form that enters under limitation (al-tahdid). Rather, He manifested it as affirmation, origination, truth, certainty, witnessing ('iyanan), and clarification (bayanan); not as a whole, nor in gathering, nor in restriction (inhisaran)."
