[305] And from it: And from my Master and my Sheikh Abu al-Fath Muhammad bin al-Hasan al-Baghdadi - may Allah sanctify him - by his chain of transmission traced back to Ammar bin Yasir that he said: The Messenger of Allah - Exalted is His Might - said one day to his companions on the day of Badr: "Indeed your Deity has attended on this day, and upon him is a white woolen robe without sleeves, his head is uncovered, he fights with you and aids you." Ammar said: "So I observed the gathering in its entirety, and there was not in the ranks of battle one upon whom was a white woolen robe without sleeves, uncovered of head, other than our Master - Exalted is His Might."

[306] And from it: From Hisham bin al-Hakam, he said: Our Master al-Sadiq - Exalted is His Might - said: "Whoever claimed that he knows Allah without vision, then he has strayed and deviated. Because what is known is preserved, and what is ignorant is discarded. So if the man doubted and was suspicious in what he sees, then he is in what he does not see more doubtful and more suspicious."
