and I veiled Myself in Muhammad in his cycle and his period and I named Myself Ali. I am the Witness who does not absent Himself, I am the Living, the Sustainer, I am the utmost goal of the seekers and the safety of the fearers."
[302] And from it: From that is what Abu al-Hasan Ra'iq bin al-Khadir al-Ghassani - may Allah have mercy on him - narrated to me, by a chain of transmission from his men, traced back (marfu'an) to the Master Muhammad - Exalted is His Might - that he said one day to his companions: "Indeed I am disciplining you with the disciplines of Allah and His messenger, and it is that I command you that the slave does not stand except for his master, and the child except for his parent, and the learner except for his teacher, and the pupil except for the wise one, and the small except for the great. And Allah commanded us, the assemblies of the prophets, that we do not stand except for the Lord, majestic is His name."
