So the Commander of the Faithful brought "Kiyan" and "Qunbur" and commanded them that they enter into the fire.

So they entered and were situated in it until they exited from the other side, and it did not affect them. So when Abdullah and his companions saw that, they rose up to the fire and entered it, and they began taking the fire and the embers and throwing it, some of them upon others, and the fire was not doing a thing to them.

So the people said: "O Commander of the Faithful, indeed the fire is not doing a thing to them."

So he commanded the people that they throw dirt upon them. So when they threw the dirt upon the fire, their matter became hidden, and they did not cease upon that until the flame vanished. So at that time, the Commander of the Faithful commanded the establishing of the prayer. So the people lined up behind him, and he prayed over them and recited aloud His, the Almighty's, saying:
