[294] And from "Risalat al-Jawharah al-Taliqaniyyah" (The Treatise of the Taliqani Jewel), the narration of Abu al-Tahir Sabu - may Allah sanctify him - and the speech here is on the tongue of two persons, one of them a "Muslim" and the other an "idol worshipper."

So from the sayings of the Muslim: "The Originator (al-Bari') - majestic is His praise and sanctified are His names - is existent and witnessing. So if you infer Him by His actions and contemplate His miracles and His power, and you negate from Him the form (al-surah) and corporealization (al-tajsim), and you affirm His existence and His vision, then you have unified Him with the reality of knowledge."

The idol worshipper said: "So what called Him to manifest, while He is capable of guiding the world to His knowledge, and He has also sent the messengers and supported them?"

The Muslim said: "Were it not that He manifests to the world, He would not have been known, nor would His existence have been affirmed. So if He is not known, the argument is not established against the denier by his denial, because he denied what did not manifest and was not known and witnessed. And likewise the acknowledger, if he acknowledges what did not manifest and is not known and witnessed, he would be nullifying [the truth] by his acknowledgment, and a liar, and accused, because he acknowledged what he does not know and does not witness."
