[291] And from it: And by the chain of transmission, from Ishaq from Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Uqayli from Abdullah bin Musa from Ja'far al-Ahmar from Abu al-Zubayr from Jabir, he said: The Messenger of Allah - Exalted is His Might - said one day: "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Ali."
[292] And from it, from Abdullah from Idris from Zayd from Yunus, he said: Al-Sadiq - Exalted is His Might - said: "The manifest (zahir) of Allah is Imamate, and His hidden (batin) is an unseen which is not perceived."
[293] And from it, he narrates it from the book "Al-Haft wa al-Azillah" (The Heptad and the Shadows):
"Allah only manifested to His creation in this attribute according to their genera (bi-ajnasihim) so that they may understand from Him. And had He manifested contrary to His creation, they would not have understood from Him, because a thing is only understood from one who is like its form."
