The Scholar said: "It cannot be that He transforms Himself from His appearance, but rather He creates a creation, so He is veiled by it and speaks from it."
And from it, the questioner said: "So how did a form come to be for Him?"
The Scholar said: "Due to the need of the created beings for it, like their need for speech. Because there is no speech except from a form, because His recognition is by power, so He came to them from where they recognize."
The questioner said: "Who are these who recognized the ancient power?"
He said: "The believers."
He said: "And who did not recognize the power?"
He said: "They are the disbelievers, and they are the ones who are called Jews, and that is because they did not recognize the genus."
The questioner said: "And how did He prolong [matters] for the servants, and how did He not call them from one place without separation so that they would answer Him in verification without separation?"
