And by one of them:

What can I say, when his virtues have become too exalted

For attributes, and honor has become below him.

This is the one who exceeded the limit of analogy in eminence,

So the people became bewildered in his meaning and differed.

And Ibn Hammad said:

[He is the one] whom the sun spoke to when it greeted him

Openly, while every living thing heard.

O First, O Last, O Manifest,

O Hidden within the veils, a deposited secret.

And al-Awni said:

Ali is the converser with the cup (kalim al-jam) when there came to him

With it two noble ones among the angels, chosen.

And he also said:

My Imam spoke to the cup and the Jinn,
