By Allah, were it not for Haydar (Ali), the world would not exist,
Nor would the creation be gathered in a gathering.
And it was reported from Abu Abdullah al-Hajjaj:
If you willed their metamorphosis in their abode, they would be metamorphosed,
Or if you willed, you would say to it: "O earth, cave in."
And indeed your most beautiful names, when they are recited
Upon a sick person, he is cured of his illness and is sufficed.
The Almighty said: ["And if We willed, We could have metamorphosed them in their places"] 1 .
And from that is the saying of al-Sahib bin Abbad:
If my spirit enjoys bliss, then from you is its bliss,
And if it is wretched one day, then you are its merciful one.
By your most beautiful names I refresh my soul,
When its breeze overflows from the holiness of majesty.
