And how excellent is the saying of the speaker:

O source of the secrets, O

Secret of the Guardian (al-Muhaymin) in the kingdoms.

O pole (qutb) of the circle of existence,

And the spring of its source as well.

And the essence (al-ayn) and the secret from which

The angels learned.

No morning of guidance has shone,

Except that it brightened from your beauty.

And to Allah belongs the excellence of the speaker:

This is the secret and the hidden meaning, and he whom

Were it not for him, the world would not be, nor the celestial sphere.

Nor would this universe have been formed from non-existence

Into existence, and this is the Owner (al-Malik) [of] the Kingship (al-Mulk).

This is the one whose signs appeared wondrously
