And excellent is what the poet said:

The gifts of Allah with me have exceeded my hope,

And neither my speech nor my deed reaches them.

But the most honorable of them with me and the most excellent of them,

Is my authority and allegiance (wilayati) to the Commander of the Faithful, Ali.

["There, the authority (al-wilayah) belongs to Allah, the Truth. He is best in reward and best in consequence"]¹.

And Shihab al-Din al-Musawi "Ibn Ma'tuq" said:

Who ascended the shoulder of the Prophet and became

With him standing upon seven layers.

The knower of the unseen and the witnessed, not

A weight of a fine atom escapes from him.

And one of the poets said:

The scatterer of the parties, striking the necks,

The breaker of the idols, the remover of griefs.
