[267] And from it is a section: Then indeed Allah, Glorified be He, revealed to His prophet that Ali is with him in the secret deposited in the openings of the Surahs, and the greatest, supreme name revealed to the messengers from the secret, and the secret written upon the face of the sun, the moon, the water, and the stone.
And that he is the essence of essences in the essences of the Essence, and that he is the stored unseen between the Lam and the Fa' and the Waw and the Ha' and the Kaf and the Nun. So He, Glorified be He, said: ["Ha, Meem. Ayn, Seen, Qaaf"]1 .
And from it is a section: Then he explicitly declared to us that the guardian (wali) is the all-encompassing over everything, so he is all-encompassing of the world, ["And Allah, behind them, is encompassing,"] 2 and ["And all things We have enumerated in a clear register (imam mubin)."] 3 So He, Glorified be He, informed us that all of what the Pen flowed with and wrote in the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz) from the unseen, He enumerated it in a clear register (imam mubin). And he is the Preserved Tablet for what was penned in the earth and the heaven, and he is the clear register (al-imam al-mubin), and he is Ali.
And he is higher and more excellent than the Tablet by [several] aspects:
