It becomes clear to us from this report and others from what preceded that the Commander of the Faithful is the Greatest Name, and everyone believes that the Greatest Name is Allah, the proper name of the Most Sacred Essence.
For the Khaybari had called upon Allah by Allah, and the Creator said in His decisive revelation: ["And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye"] 1 , and He - majestic is His praise - said: ["His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, 'Be,' and it is"] 2 .
And this is our Master - majestic is his praise - he froze the water with merely a gesture from him, and the gesture does not take from time except like a moment or the word "Be," just as the Khaybari, by merely his calling upon the Commander of the Faithful, who is the Greatest Name Allah, walked upon the surface of the water, and to Allah alone belongs the knowledge, the decree, and the command.
[262] And from the book "Mashariq al-Anwar": "So the single Point (al-Nuqta) is the reality of the existents, and the origin of the beings, and the pole of the circles, and the knower of the unseen and the witnessed; its exoteric (zahir) is prophethood and its esoteric (batin) is the authority (wilayah)."
