[13] And it occurred in the book of “Sulaym bin Qays al-Hilali,” our master—His might was mighty—said to Abu al-Tufayl: “Indeed, our matter is difficult, deemed difficult, none knows it nor confesses it except three: a nearby angel, a sent prophet, or a believer whose heart Allah has tested for faith.”
[14] And from the book of “Al-Qatrah” on the authority of Abu Abdillah—His might was mighty—he said: “A man came to al-Husayn and said: 'Narrate to me of your virtue.' So he said: 'Indeed, you are unable to bear it.' He said: 'Yes, [I can],'narrate to me, O son of the Messenger of Allah, indeed I [can] bear it.' So he narrated a narration to him, and al-Husayn did not finish his narration until the man's head and beard turned white and he forgot the narration.”
[15] And from it, it is narrated on the authority of al-Baqir—His might was mighty—he said: “If I found bearers for my knowledge, I would have spread monotheism, Islam, religion, and the legislations; and how is it for me when my grandfather, the Commander of the Faithful, did not find bearers for his knowledge?”
