[253] And from it: Because Allah did not send a prophet calling the people to Him and guiding the slaves to Him, except that He had taken upon him the authority (wilayah) of Ali, willingly or unwillingly. The Almighty said: "Allah is the guardian of those who believe", and the prophets are the first of the believers, so he is the guardian of all.
[254] And from the book "Al-Kawkab al-Durri", it came in it: "The Imam is one and he is unique (ahad), and no scholar equals him, and no substitute is found for him, and he has no likeness and no peer." The Almighty said: "There is nothing like unto Him", and He, Glorified be He, said: "And there is none comparable to Him."
[255] And from it: And in "Al-Manaqib" from Al-Khatib in "Al-Arba'in", Umar bin al-Khattab said: "Knowledge is six sixths; to Ali from that are five sixths, and to the people is one sixth. And he has indeed shared with us in the [one] sixth, such that he is more knowing of it than us."
[256] And in "Al-Manaqib" from Muhammad bin Muslim from Abu Ja'far, and from Jabir, he said: "The sun spoke to Ali bin Abi Talib seven times."
