and "Sulayman al-Jawbah", nay rather it is the matter of the Nawasib who said of the divinity of Umar bin al-Khattab, and the Yazidis who say of the divinity of Yazid, and others. So the defaming by exaggeration, when there is defaming concerning it, is only upon these who diminished the greatness of the Creator and claimed lordship for His slaves and did not appraise Allah with His true appraisal. What supports the soundness of this speech of mine is what was reported here from the saying describing the exaggerators as being accustomed to abandoning prayer, almsgiving, and fasting, and this applies completely to those whom I mentioned.

For the Ismailis who believed in the manifestation of the Deity in the Fatimid kings, then in "Ali Khan" Aga Khan and whoever follows him of children and grandchildren, and they absolved themselves from performing the exoteric legislations and worships and stopped at the limit of the esoteric belief.
