The evidence of that is his saying: "I am the speaker to Moses from the tree; indeed, O Moses, I am that light," and the speaker is Ali, not Muhammad.
And from it: They said to the Ash'aris - and the pronoun in it [means] they said to the Imamiyyah: "Indeed your Lord whom you call us to [believe in] seeing on the Day of Resurrection is not our Lord whom we worship, because our Lord whom we worship, there is nothing like unto Him. And whoever has no likeness is not seen, so the Worshipped Lord is not seen. And indeed the Lord specified with being seen on the Day of Resurrection is the one whose authority (wilayah) you denied in the world, so you disbelieved in him due to his enmity and the denial of his authority, because he is the guardian (wali) and the ruler to whom belongs the judgment and to him you will be returned. And to him is the indication by his saying: "I am the worshipper, I am the worshipped," and they established Ali as the master of the creatures.
