[245] And from the book "Al-Muhtadar", following from Muthanna bin Zurarah, he said: I was with Abu Ja'far - exalted is his might - so a man from the people of Kufa stood up to him asking him about the saying of the Commander of the Faithful - exalted is his might - "Ask me about what you wish, for by Allah you do not ask me about a thing except that I inform you." So he - exalted is his might - said: "Indeed, there is no one who has knowledge except of a thing that came out from the Commander of the Faithful. So let the people go wherever they wish, for by Allah the command is not except from right here," and he pointed to his house.
[246] And from it: By his chain of transmission from al-Mufaddal from Abu Abdullah - exalted is his might - he said: "Indeed Allah - Mighty and Majestic - made Ali a sign (alam) between Him and His creation, there is no sign between them other than him. So whoever acknowledges his authority (wilayah) is a believer, and whoever denies it is a disbeliever, and whoever is ignorant of it is astray, and whoever sets up [anyone/anything] with him is a polytheist, and whoever comes with his authority enters Paradise, and whoever rejects it enters the Fire."
