[241] And from the book "Al-Qatrah", following as an addition, Abu Abdullah Abu Ja'far al-Sadiq - exalted is his might - said to Humran bin A'yan: "O Humran,

indeed the world with the Imam, and the heavens and the earths, are not except like this - and he pointed with his hand to his palm - he recognizes their exoteric and their esoteric, and their inside and their outside, and their moist and their dry."

[242] And from it: A man said to our Master Ja'far bin Muhammad al-Sadiq - exalted is his might - : "Inform me why the Prophet - exalted is his might - raised Ali upon his shoulder?" He said: "So the people recognize his station and his elevation." So he said: "Increase me, O son of the Messenger of Allah." So he said: "So the people know that he is more entitled to the station of the Messenger - exalted is his might - after him, and [he is] the raised banner."
