[232] "And I have indeed known from the wonders of the creation of Allah what no one knows except Allah, and I recognized what was and what will be and what was in the first dust," up to his saying: "And if what was from me in the first ancient time and what was from me in the last was uncovered for you, you would have seen magnified wonders. I am the master of the first creation before the first Noah, so nothing escapes from me," up to his saying: "And how many wonders I left, and proofs I concealed, for which I find no bearers. I am the raiser of Idris to a high place, I am the maker of Jesus to speak in the cradle, I am the one who makes the rivers flow: rivers of flowing water, and rivers of milk, and rivers of purified honey, and rivers of wine delicious to the drinkers."
Elucidation (Tabyin): Indeed, whoever knows what no one knows except Allah, and recognizes what was and what will be since the first dust, there is no doubt that he is the ancient, the pre-eternal. And whoever nothing escapes from him, there is no doubt that he is He, by the evidence of the Almighty's saying: ["Not hidden from Him is the weight of an atom in the heavens or in the earth, nor smaller than that nor larger, except that it is in a clear book."] 1
And whoever his saying is - and he is the most truthful of speakers - "I am the raiser of Idris to a high place", there is no wonder that he is the active first cause in existence, by the evidence of the Almighty's saying: "And We raised him to a high place," and the one who made Jesus speak in the cradle is no one other than the singular Lord. The Almighty said: "[Remember] when I supported you with the Pure Spirit, you speak to the people in the cradle" the verse.
