Clarification and Submission (Idah wa Ikhda): The saying of our Master, "Indeed my recognition by the luminous nature is the recognition of Allah, and the recognition of Allah is my recognition," is a radiant evidence that he is He. The Almighty said: ["Say, 'Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Merciful. Whichever [name] you call - to Him belong the best names.'"] 1 . The meaning is: if you call upon Allah, you have indeed called upon the Most Merciful, and if you call upon the Most Merciful, you have indeed called upon Allah, because Allah is the Most Merciful and the Most Merciful is Allah, and whichever of the two you call upon, to Him belong the best names because they are one. And likewise, whoever recognizes the Commander of the Faithful by the luminous nature has indeed recognized Allah, and whoever recognizes Allah has indeed recognized the Commander of the Faithful. And his saying "and submit the command to Ali" establishes the divinity of our Master - exalted is his might - by the evidence of the Almighty's saying: ["To Allah belongs the command before and after."] 2 And his saying "And I am the guide" clarifies that he is the Creator, by the evidence of the Almighty's saying: ["We have certainly sent down clear verses. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path."] 3 .
And from his saying "And I am the master of inspiration," we deduce his divinity by the evidence of the saying of the Creator: ["And He inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness"] 4 , and his saying "And I am the High, the Great," its verification is the saying of the Creator in the Verse of the Throne: ["And their preservation tires Him not. And He is the High, the Great."] 5 And the evidence for his lordship by his saying: "And I give life and cause death, and I know what is in the heavens and the earth," is the saying of the Creator in the Quran:
