With the indication that there is a truth which must be mentioned to the reader, and it is that our Master the Commander of the Faithful - majestic is his praise - when he read the scrolls of Adam, and Noah, and Abraham, and the Torah, and the Gospel, and a part of the Quran at his birth within the hearing of Muhammad - exalted is his might - the revelation had not yet descended upon our Master the Chosen One, and the message had not yet reached him. So let the wise reader reflect.

[220] And from it: On the authority of Tariq bin Shihab from Ali - exalted is his might - a narration in the description of the Imam, from which we mentioned the place of need, and from its totality: "O Tariq, the Imam is the word of Allah, and the proof of Allah, and the veil of Allah, and the light of Allah," up to his saying: "and the Greatest Name, and the most upright path. Whoever recognizes them and takes from them, meaning the Imams, then he is with them. For they are the stored secret of Allah, and His brought-near guardians, and His command between the Kaf and the Nun; no, rather they are the Kaf and the Nun.
