Clarification (Idah): The saying of the Creator: "Ali is My proof over My creation, and My light in My lands, and My trustee over My knowledge," is an indication to the visible form which is the exoteric (al-zahir) and the light of the Essence by manifestation. And His saying, the Almighty: "I will not enter into the Fire whoever recognizes him, even if he disobeys Me, and I will not enter into Paradise whoever denies him, even if he obeys Me," is an indication that the sign of faith is the recognition of the form and the acknowledgment of it, and its recognizer, the one who acknowledges it upon the reality of recognition,

does not fall into the abysses of transformation (al-musukhiyyah), even if he falls short in the obligations of obedience like prayer and almsgiving (zakah) and their like. And whoever denies it and rejects it will not enter Paradise, even if he prays, and fasts, and performs the obligations and the utmost of obediences. But each of them is rewarded and requited in the world according to his deeds. And the eternal punishment of the rejecting polytheist is in addition to the other punishment while he is in the human shirts (al-qumsan al-bashariyyah). He (Mighty and Majestic) said: ["Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.] ¹
