We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the destination."
Clarification (Idah): The Messenger mentions that Ali is the inheritor of every knowledge and encompasses it, and Allah says in His Book: ["And that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge."] 1 And he mentions that there is no conqueror over him and none is aided against him, and the one who is not conquered and not overpowered is none other than Allah, mighty are His names. And he mentions that whoever pledges allegiance to him, then he only pledges allegiance to Allah, and this indicates that he is Allah. And he commands the believers, after greeting him with their authority [emirate], to say to him: ["We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the destination."] 2
