[171] And from it: The saying of the Messenger (exalted be his might) upon the tongue of the Creator: "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I supported him through Ali, and I helped him through him." Its embodiment (misdaq) is the Almighty's saying: ["It is He who supported you with His help."] 1
And from it: "No one passes over the Path (al-Sirat) except him for whom Ali has written a pass [authorization]." And this means that he is the disposer of affairs (al-mutasarrif) and the doer of whatever he wills on the Day of Account.
[172] And from it: From the Messenger (exalted be his might): "I did not pass by any heaven except that its inhabitants long for Ali bin Abi Talib, and there is no prophet in Paradise except that he longs for Ali." Truly, the love of the prophets, the angels, and the close friends (awliya') for their Master drives them to the most intense longing for him and attraction towards him.
