And His Messenger said to our Master (exalted be his might): "And you are the most trustworthy handhold," while Allah says: ["There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing."] 1
And the Messenger addresses our Master with his saying: "And you are the guardian (wali) of every believing man and believing woman," while Allah the Almighty says: ["Allah is the ally [guardian] of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light."] 2
And I leave to the reader the esoteric interpretation (ta'wil) of the final saying of the Messenger (exalted be his might) to our Master: "And you are the one about whom Allah revealed: 'And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger...'", along with comparing this saying to his words regarding the verse:
