And his saying "from" denotes the deified (al-ma'luh). "And I am from him," meaning in the position of the messenger to the head, and the deified to the God (al-Ilah). I leave the interpretation of the rest to the acumen of the reader.
[157] And from it: And in Al-Manaqib, traced back (marfu'an) to Al-Husayn (exalted be his might), he said: When this verse was revealed: "Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register [Manifest Imam]," they said: "O Messenger of Allah, is it the Torah, the Gospel, or the Quran?" He said, "No." Then Abu Turab (exalted be his might) approached, so he (exalted be his might) said: "This is the Imam in whom Allah has enumerated the knowledge of all things."
Clarification (Idah):
The reader might assume, based on a superficial understanding of the Messenger's words, that this knowledge possessed by the Imam, which encompasses everything in existence, was merely received by Ali from Allah just as a student receives information from a teacher,
