The Verse: [“In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. * [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - * The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, * Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. * It is You we worship and You we ask for help. * Guide us to the straight path - * The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.”] 1

And as a fitting conclusion (misk al-khitam), I present the proof establishing his Lordship (rububiyyah)—exalted be his might—from Surah Al-Fatihah, which is the Mother of the Book (Umm al-Kitab), opening with the Basmalah. It is recorded in the book Yanabi' al-Mawaddah with the following text:

"Indeed, the secrets of the heavenly books are gathered in the Quran, and the secrets of the Quran are gathered in Al-Fatihah, and the secrets of Al-Fatihah are gathered in the Basmalah, and the secrets of the Basmalah are gathered in Bism (In the name of), and the secrets of Bism are gathered in the letter Ba', and the secrets of the Ba' are gathered in the dot that is beneath the Ba'. And the Commander of the Faithful (exalted be his might) said: 'I am the dot that is beneath the Ba'."

Tell me, O reader, what have you deduced from this statement recorded in an exoteric (Zahiri) book by a Sunni author? Have you deduced anything other than that our Master, the Commander of the Faithful, is the Eternal, the Pre-existent in his essence (al-Azal al-Qadim bi-dhatihi)? Indeed, the articulation of all numbers and their establishment arises from the dot; in it they are contained, and from it they emanate.
