❖ From Surah At-Tin ❖

The Verse: [“Is not Allah the most just of judges?”] 1

This is an elucidation of the extraordinary power and absolute, majestic knowledge that our Master (exalted be his might) possessed in righteous adjudication and just ruling. Whoever wishes to examine this in detail should consult the book Qada' Amir al-Mu'minin (The Judgments of the Commander of the Faithful) by Sheikh al-Tustari.

❖ From Surah Quraysh ❖

Footnotes

1Surah At-Tin – Verse 8.In the Tafsir of Ali bin Ibrahim al-Qummi, regarding His saying "the most just of judges": [It refers to] the Commander of the Faithful. On the authority of Ibn 'Abbas: "The judgment on the Day of Return belongs to Ali (exalted be his might) as a specific prerogative from the Lord of the Servants, for he is the most just of judges." (Sources: Al-Durr al-Thamin fi Asrar al-Anza' al-Batin by al-Halabi; Tafsir al-Qummi)."O Ali, O Great One, O Most Seeing of those who see, O Most Hearing of those who hear, O Swiftest of reckoners, O Most Just of judges, and O Most Merciful of those who show mercy." (Source: Misbah al-Mutahajjid).
