"I am the One who made [people] laugh and weep," up to his saying, "And that He destroyed the first [people of] ‘Aad."

The First Verse: [“The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has split [in two].” ] 1
Regarding the matter of the splitting of the moon at the hand of our Master, the Commander of the Faithful—Exalted is His might—in addition to the returning of the sun; the mention of this splitting exists in several books, and the Master al-Khuṣaybī—may Allah sanctify him—has cited it in al-Risāla al-Rastabāshīya.
The Second Verse: [From Surah Al-Qamar, “And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.” ] 2
[135] It is narrated in the book Mashāriq Anwār al-Yaqīn from our Master, the Commander of the Faithful—Exalted is His might—that he said: “And if I wished to traverse the world in less than the blinking of an eye, I would have done so.”
