The Verse: [“That is because, when Allah was called upon alone, you disbelieved; but if others were associated with Him, you believed. So the judgment is with Allah, the Most High, the Grand.”] 1
This is an allusion to those who substitute [the truth] and prefer their own leaders—the heads of misguidance—over him. They do not believe when it is said to them that he is the First Successor without intervention, and that general Imamate belongs to him alone. They recognize his caliphate only if it is said that he is the fourth successor after three before him. This is the interpretation of “but if others were associated with Him, you believed. So the judgment is with Allah, the Most High, the Grand”—meaning that merit and judgment belong to our master Ali, and he will indeed take vengeance upon them for their opposition and denial.
❖ From Surah Fussilat ❖
The Verse: [“Unquestionably, they are in doubt about the meeting with their Lord. Unquestionably, He is, of all things, encompassing.”] 2
It came in the book Mashariq al-Anwar: The Master Messenger—Exalted is His might—said: “And none doubts in him except a polytheist.”
