[122] Our Master—Exalted is His might—said in a sermon of his, reported in the book Al-Kawkab al-Durri and others: “I am the Side of Allah (Janb Allah).”
The Third Verse: [“And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged.”] 1
[123] It came in the book Mashariq al-Anwar: The allusion to this is the saying of the Messenger—Exalted is His might: “Ali, no veil conceals him from Allah; he is the Secret and the Veil.”
Indeed, the Imam is a Divine Light and a Lordly Secret. And Allah—His is the Word, Glory be to Him—said: “And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord.” The Light of the Lord is the Imam, by whose light the darknesses are illuminated and the rest of the world finds light.
