[102] And from the book Al-Muhtadar: It was narrated, tracing it to him—meaning Hassan al-'Ijli—who said: I met Amat Allah, the daughter of Rushayd al-Hajari, and I said to her: Tell me what you heard from your father. She said: I heard him say: My beloved, the Commander of the Faithful—Exalted is His might—said: “O Rushayd, how will we find you when the base-born (da'iyy) of the Umayyads sends for you and cuts off your hands and feet?” I said: O Commander of the Faithful, will the end of that be to Paradise? He said: “Yes, O Rushayd, and you will be with me in this world and the Hereafter.” She said: By Allah, days did not pass before the base-born 'Ubayd Allah bin Ziyad—may Allah curse him—sent for him, and what happened, happened.
