he has judged for you by what He has revealed Allah concerning me. And were it not for a verse in the Book of Allah, I would have informed you of what has been and what is to come until the Day of Resurrection; and it is His saying, the Exalted: [“Allah eliminates what He wills or confirms, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.”] 1 Then he said: “Ask me before you lose me, for by the One who split the seed and created the soul, if you were to ask me about every single verse, whether it was revealed at night or during the day, in Makka or in Madina, during travel or at home, its abrogating and its abrogated, its definitive and its ambiguous, its interpretation and its revelation, I would inform you.”
And from his words, Glory be to Him, in his distinct speech and sermons, the reader will come upon more of his speaking with the knowledge of the Unseen, which includes within its scope the knowledge of the Hour and what pertains to it.
