And to perhaps an objector saying: why is it that you say it is obligatory to conceal and not disclose the secret, and here is Abdullah bin Saba and his companions and a group from Sabat explicitly declared and disclosed? So we answer that the judgments differ by the difference of times,

and that the explicit declaration of those monotheists only was and occurred during the era of the manifestation of the Master among them, “not at the time of his occultation,” and in that was a license for them at that time, and after they saw of his breaking miracles that which no one in existence is capable of bringing the like of, which inspired them to the announcement, just as the like of it occurred during the era of the Master Ja'far al-Sadiq—His might was mighty—since Abu al-Khattab Muhammad ibn Abi Zaynab explicitly declared his abstract reality.

And by this also, there is an indication to the believers among the people of the temperament that their master, the Commander of the Faithful, is the essence of the truth, and that there appeared in some of the eras whoever believed in his divinity among the scholars and notable figures, and among them were those whom the heat of faith drove to the announcement of his lordship, then they accepted the burning as a reward for this announcement with all welcome of heart,
