The Fourth Aspect: From the saying of our master Asif, “I will bring it to you,” with a tone of certainty and decisiveness indicating the absoluteness of his power and his will, and without saying, “by the permission of Allah,” or, “if Allah wills.” This saying is what is appropriate for the created being to utter in reliance upon the power of his Creator, since power in the created being is relative and borrowed, while in the Creator it is spontaneous and essential. And it has come in the mighty Book of Allah upon the tongue of the Master, the Messiah (al-Masih)—Exalted is His might—his saying:
[“And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah. And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life the dead by permission of Allah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.”] 1
