And it is known that the miracle ought to issue through the Prophet, and that is by the requirement of his prophethood. And this is in relation to our master Sulayman—Exalted is His might; for this miracle, which is the bringing of the throne, should have issued from him considering that he is the caller to Allah and the intermediary between Him and His creation, since the miracle is one of the requirements of prophethood and its necessities. And his need for our master Asif to bring the throne is evidence of the Divinity of the author of the miracle—Exalted is His praise.
