The First Aspect: From the phrase “Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture,” meaning the one who has the knowledge of the Scripture, and he is Asif—Exalted is His might—because this particle min (“from”) is supplementary (li-ziyadah) or synonymous with the letter ba', meaning he has knowledge of the Scripture (bi-al-kitab). And this is in accordance with what came in the verse from Surah Ar-Ra'd which I have previously presented, and it is: “And those who have disbelieved say, 'You are not a messenger.'

Say, 'Sufficient is Allah as a witness between me and you, and [so is] whoever has knowledge of the Scripture.'”] 1

The Second Aspect: The bringing of the throne from Yemen by our master Asif faster than the return of a glance. Accomplishing a matter with this supreme speed is among the exclusive attributes of the Creator alone. For the Exalted mentioned that in His saying: [“And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.”] 2 , and His saying, Glory be to Him: [“Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, 'Be,' and it is.”] 3 , and in the Surah: [“His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, 'Be,' and it is.”] 4 . In the first and second verses and His command in the third verse refers back to the Creator, the Exalted. That is to say, if He, Glory be to Him, intends to bring something into existence, that thing occurs in a time whose duration does not exceed a glance of the eye or the word "Be" (kun).
