So the fish approached, raising their voices with the declaration of God's oneness (tahlil) and magnification (takbir), and they said:
"Peace be upon you, O Proof of Allah on His earth, and the observant Eye of Allah among His servants. Your people have forsaken you just as the people of Harun bin Imran forsook him."
He said to his companions: "Did you hear?"
They said: "Yes."
He said: "This is a sign and a proof against you."
The Exalted said: ["Say, 'With Allah is the far-reaching argument. If He had willed, He would have guided you all.'"] 1
