It also includes causing the living to die, which was his burning of them, as well as speaking of the Unseen (al-ghayb); this occurred when he informed of the matter of the Iwan, what it contained, and what used to be done within it, leading Dulaf bin Munajjim,

the astronomer of Chosroes, to say: “By Allah, it is exactly so,” and also his saying: “O my master and protector, it is as if you were the one who placed these things in their locations.”

Added to that is the statement of our master, swearing an oath when the people of Sabat informed him of the return of the individuals he had burned to their homes: “O son of the wicked coward and the treaty-breaking denier, the long path will carry you away and the ghoul will overcome you. I am the secret of secrets, I am the tree of lights,” up to his saying after a discourse: “I am the lion of the sons of Ghalib, I am Ali bin Abi Talib,” whereupon the questioner let out a great cry and fell dead.
