An example of this is His saying—Majestic is His praise—:[“No! If you only knew with the knowledge of certainty (‘ilma al-yaqin)”] 1 ,
meaning: if you only knew the esoteric knowledge of "Ali", about which he explicitly declared in the book of Al-Nahj: “Rather, I have integrated into a hidden knowledge, which if I were to disclose, you would tremble like the trembling of ropes in a deep well,” and his saying: “Indeed, our knowledge is difficult and deemed difficult; none can bear it except hearts ...grave and chests that are trustworthy,” meaning that if you only knew this essential knowledge, mutual rivalry (al-takathur) would not have diverted you, nor would fleeting pleasures have occupied you.
And His saying: “You will surely see the Hellfire (al-jahim).”, meaning you will surely look with your very own eyes upon the terrifying fire, which is expressed in our monotheistic books as the manifestation of the Mahdi, the Proof (al-Hujjah), who is a hellfire in relation to you—meaning the disbelievers—because of the painful torment you will encounter as a result of your denial of the reality of the knowledge of certainty (‘ilm al-yaqin) and your turning away from His recognition. Then: “Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty (‘ayna al-yaqin).”, meaning you will surely look upon it as the eye of Ali,
