Each of these three explanations is precise, elegant, and a source of conviction and verification for the people of spiritual unveiling and verification (ahl al-kashf wa-l-tahqiq).
And the Exalted said in Surah Al-Hajj: [“And hold fast to Allah. He is your protector (mawlakum); so excellent is the protector (al-mawla), and excellent is the helper (al-nasir).”] 1 . Since the word (Ali / علي) totals twenty-six in the small alphanumeric calculation (al-jumal al-hisabi al-saghir), each of the two words (Mawla / مولى) and (Nasir / نصير) also totals the exact same number, after dropping the definite article "Al-" (ال)—which counts as seven numbers in this calculation, pointing toward the seven manifestations through which our master revealed Himself from the Hā’ (ه) to the ‘Ayn (ع). Likewise, the word (Mu'in / معين) (helper/supporter), which carries the same meaning as nasir, totals twenty-six in this calculation.
