Here it is for you, dear reader: The Creator—Majestic is His praise—named Himself “Ali” in the seventh Dome of His manifestations. The Creator, the Exalted, mentioned this sublime name in His virtuous Book numerous times. And in His saying, the Exalted: [“That is because Allah is the Truth, and that what they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High (Al-Ali), the Grand.”] 1 ; [“And intercession does not benefit with Him except for one whom He permits. [And those waiting will continue] until, when terror is removed from their hearts, they will say [to one another], ‘What has your Lord said?’ They will say, ‘The truth.’ And He is the Most High (Al-Ali), the Grand.”] 2 ; [“Indeed, Allah is ever Most High (Aliyan), Grand.”; “And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, Most High (La'aliyun), Wise.”] 3 .

Wisdom flowed from his words and deeds. The people of The Exoteric (Al-Zahir) stopped at the boundaries of appearances, as is their custom in their exegesis, and they interpreted the word “Al-Ali” as an attribute of the Creator signifying highness and loftiness.
