And from the verses of Ibn Abi al-Hadid al-Mu'tazili concerning him:
Indeed, were it not for his blade, Islam would be
Like a goat's scraping in the dirt, or a hoof's clipping.
Indeed, were it not for his sciences, monotheism would be
Like a friend's compliant speech, or a disbeliever's plundering.
❖On Proving His Divinity from the Holy Quran❖
I have previously mentioned in the introduction of this treatise that I would prove the validity of what I bring forth herein through detailed proofs: namely, the Book of Allah, the Hadith of the Messenger, and the proof of intellect. His speech, the Exalted, in His Mighty Book is the first and strongest of these proofs. God willing, I shall establish this from numerous facets that demonstrate the soundness of the evidence, leaving no room for doubt for anyone who has been granted clarity of intellect and heart, endowed with the strength of logic and thought, and stripped of the shackles of fanaticism and rigidity—naturally, following the presence of an innate, settled faith.
