And the meaning of “He shone forth from Mount Paran” refers to the manifestation of our master the Commander of the Faithful—His might was mighty—in Mecca alongside the Master Messenger—His might was mighty—and his supernatural miracles are innumerable. The meaning of “with him were thousands of holy ones” is an indication toward the manifestation of the five thousand, the count of the Great Radiant World (al-'alam al-kabir al-nurani). The Exalted said:
[Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of Allah and they [the enemy] come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction].” 1 , and He, Glory be to Him, said: [“And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,”] 2 .
And “at his right hand was a fiery law for them” is an indication toward the sword Zulfiqar, with which he struck down the tyrants and polytheists, and upon whose edge monotheism (al-tawhid) and the religion were established.
